Tim Cook got a 40% pay cut

Apple CEO Tim Cook's total compensation in 2023 will be $49 million, CNBC writes, citing the company's materials. Cook earned just under $83 million in 2022 in stock bonuses, $12 million in incentives and $3 million in salary. Apple's compensation committee said it made the changes in response to last year's pay vote, in which Cook's compensation was approved by only 64 percent of shareholders. In 2020, Tim Cook's compensation was approved by 95% of shareholders.
