Profit of American Express in Q1 decreased by 13.5%

American Express' GAAP net income for 3 months of 2023 was $1.816 billion, down 13.5% from $2.099 billion in the previous year. Revenue rose 21.7% to $14.281 billion from $11.735 billion a year earlier.
