Sales of M.Video stores in the new compact format are 15% higher than planned

M.Video-Eldorado's total sales for 6 months of 2023 decreased by 16.5% to ₽219 billion. Online sales decreased by 11.9% to ₽155.4 billion. Share of online sales in GMV increased by 3.7 p.p. to 71%. Company opened 13 M.Video stores in a compact format. The new format retains most of the assortment familiar to visitors while reducing the area by almost half. Sales of new stores are on average 15% higher than planned. Company plans to open several dozens of such stores by the end of the year.
