Inter RAO started construction of the Novolenskaya TPP in Yakutia

Inter RAO Group started construction of the Novolenskaya TPP in Yakutia. Plant with an installed capacity of 550 MW will be one of the largest in the region. Efficiency of the Novolenskaya TPP at rated load will be about 37%. Power plant will have three steam-power units with a capacity of 185 MW. Equipment will be Russian-made: turbines will be supplied by Ural Turbine Works, generators by Silamash. Capacity supply to the wholesale market is scheduled to start on July 1, 2028.
