MTS will create its own 4G and 5G base stations

MTS will develop 4G/5G base stations with the OpenRAN open architecture. Company plans to invest ₽5.6 billion in the project and receive another ₽5.4 billion in budget financing. Production is scheduled to start in September 2024. By June 2026, it is planned to establish serial production of stations up to 20,000 units per year.
