Rosseti asks to prohibit consumers from switching to their own generation free of charge

Head of Rosseti Andrey Ryumin sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin with proposals to reduce the company's revenue shortfalls by prohibiting consumers from disconnecting from the grid and switching to their own generation without compensation. President supported the proposals of the head of the electric grid holding company and instructed Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak to prepare a solution.
