Rusal buys 30% of alumina refinery in China

Rusal buys 30% of Chinese metallurgical company Hebei Wenfeng New Materials for CN¥1.911 billion or $267 million. HWNM owns an alumina refinery in China's Hebei province with a capacity of 4.8 million tons of raw material. Upon completion of the transaction, the companies will receive alumina produced in proportion to their stakes.
