Yandex began testing unmanned cars without a driver in the cabin

IT company Yandex has moved to the final stage of testing unmanned cars in Innopolis without a driver in the cabin. Car will be accompanied by another vehicle with an operator who will be able to make an emergency stop remotely. Testing of unmanned cars from Yandex began in Innopolis in 2018. Since then, the autos have traveled 1 million kilometers, making 77 thousand trips.
