Severstal has found a supplier of equipment for pellet production

Severstal signed a contract with a company from China to supply equipment for the construction of an iron ore pellet production complex at the Cherepovets Steel Mill site with a capacity of 10 million tons of pellets per year. First deliveries of the equipment are planned for the fourth quarter of 2024. Investment in the project will amount to about ₽97 billion. Launch of complex is scheduled for 2026.
