Rusal started preparations for modernization of KrAZ

Rusal started preparatory works within the framework of the Krasnoyarsk Aluminum Smelter environmental redevelopment project. A single electrolysis series with self-burning anodes consisting of two buildings will be built in place of the plant's existing buildings with EcoSoderberg production technology Nos. 13-16. It is planned to produce the first metal at the new production facility in 2027. Rusal's investment in the project will amount to about ₽100 billion.
