USA has banned imports of salmon, pollock, cod and crab, as well as products made from them, wholly or partially produced in Russia or caught in waters under Russian jurisdiction. Direct imports of fish and seafood products from Russia were banned by the U.S. back on March 11, 2022. New order specifies that the restrictions now apply regardless of whether the fish, seafood and their preparations have been processed or substantially transformed into another product outside Russia.
