Severstal restores electric steel production volume

Severstal's Cherepovets Steel Mill set a record for continuous casting of billets in March 2024 - 179 hours. During this period, 25.5 thousand tons of rebar were cast. Plant achieved such results for the first time after starting to work as part of the current electric steel production chain. Today, electric steel output accounts for 10% of the total liquid steel production at CherMK.
