Rusal to complete construction of anode plant in Q1 2025

Completion of the construction of a single industrial complex in Taishet District, consisting of an aluminum smelter and an anode plant, is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2025, said Igor Kobzev, Governor of the Irkutsk Region. Launch of the Taishet anode plant will provide annealed anodes for the company's enterprises, primarily the Taishet aluminum smelter. Design capacity of the plant is 400 thousand tons of annealed anodes and 150 thousand tons of calcined coke per year.
