Rusal has achieved the production of primary aluminum virtually free of vanadium and other heavy metals. This is a new achievement in the development of revolutionary inert anode technology, and it opens up additional prospects for the use of aluminum in the energy sector, as the exclusion of vanadium increases the electrical conductivity of the metal.
