RUSAL import substitution of potassium sulfate in the Russian market

Achinsk Alumina Combine produces this potash fertilizer as a related product. To bring potassium sulfate to the domestic market, it required a complex procedure for its registration with the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the construction of a special packaging line. Achinsk Combine products replace Western European suppliers that have left the Russian market, and the PotashSol brand has been specially registered for them. Deliveries of potassium sulfate to Russian farmers have already begun. The plant annually produces 36,000 tons of potassium sulfate.
