T-Bank launches contactless payment service for iPhone

T-Bank has launched the contactless payment service T-Pay for iPhone users. Payment is made via Bluetooth Low Energy. In the future, when paying with T-Pay on an iPhone, an Internet connection will not be required. The service infrastructure is being built on the basis of an association of banks — Sberbank, Alfa-Bank and T-Bank. T-Pay is currently operating on Sberbank terminals, and it will be available on its biometric terminals by the end of September, and on T—Bank and Alfa-Bank terminals by mid-2026.
