Unipro has completed the modernization of power unit No. 4 of Surgutskaya GRES-2 as part of the KOMOD program. As a result of the modernization, the station received a turbine unit with an increased installed capacity to 830 MW, an updated resource, a new service life of 40 years and an extended maintenance interval. In 2026, it is planned to begin the modernization of power unit No. 2 of Surgutskaya GRES-2.
