Sollers invests in UAZ ₽12.5 billion over 2 years

Sollers car concern plans to invest 12.5 billion rubles in the development of UAZ in the next 2 years, said the governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Alexey Russian. In 2026-2027, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant plans to launch production of a new Sollers S9 SUV, components of safety systems and seats, a pressing line for stamping bodies, a paint complex, and welding sites for the Sollers line of pickups and SUVs.
