MGKL is negotiating to buy the bank

MGKL wants to acquire a bank with a universal license, ideally with a license for operations with precious metals, in order to launch retail lending and the organization of full—fledged gold exchangers (purchase and sale of gold bars), sources told Kommersant. Negotiations are underway with several banks with a capital of 0.5-3 billion rubles. MGKL declined to comment. However, the group has already submitted applications to Rospatent for registration of the names Goldbank and Lombank.
