MTS in 2025 invested 6% of its OIBDA in new areas

MTS in 2025 invested ₽17 billion in new areas, which accounted for 6% of OIBDA. All investments are currently being made in projects with clear payback periods, noted company. Last year, MTS launched a joint project with Yandex to build special infrastructure along highways so that the IT company's self-driving cars could travel on the roads. The company also patented the Energy Tool product, which allows for the detection of mining farms, and launched a service for providing robotic services and is involved in the development of AI solutions.
