Fesco has started calling at the port of Jeddah on the Red Sea

Fesco's transport group has made its first direct ship call for a marine container service to the port of Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) on the Red Sea. Against the backdrop of the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, the use of ports on the Red Sea, including Jeddah, can increase the resilience of transport chains and provide cargo owners with additional supply options in the region, the company notes. Fesco is considering further calls to the port of Jeddah based on the needs of shippers and the configuration of cargo flows.
