UAZ has suspended production in Cuba

Production of UAZ vehicles in Cuba, as well as at most of the country's enterprises, has been suspended due to severe power supply restrictions caused by the US oil blockade of the island. Company is expecting a prompt resolution of the situation and the resumption of operations. UAZ had planned to increase production in Cuba in 2026. In 2025, several dozen Russian-brand vehicles were assembled at the Cuban facility.
