X5 and Alfa-Bank have launched the Orange Pay payment service, a new way to pay for purchases in the retailer's retail chains without a physical card. A single QR code in the mobile apps of the chains combines payment and a loyalty program and works even without an internet connection. The service is already available in more than 26,500 Pyaterochka and Perekrestok stores.
