Magnit invests in frozen bakery production

Magnit invested RUB 1.1 bln to launch its own frozen bakery production, the company said. Output is expected to exceed 1.5 thousand tonnes per month at full capacity, with potential growth to 3 thousand tonnes as the product range expands. The retailer aims to cover 20–40% of its demand amid rising consumption: in 2025, in-store bakery sales grew over 1.7x, while mass fresh bread consumption declined by 2%.
