GAZ Group unveils a platform for commercial vehicles

GAZ Group has unveiled a universal platform that will serve as the basis for a new generation of light commercial vehicles with a frameless body structure. Modular configuration of the platform allows for the installation of various types of engines, enables the use of front, rear, and all-wheel drive, and allows for a wide range of wheelbase lengths and roof heights, as well as the addition of cargo and passenger bodies. This platform has the potential to enable GAZ to enter the segment of more compact vans and minibuses, which the company has not previously been present in.
