Delimobil Seeks Role in Biometric Verification Talks

Delimobil has asked Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development and Ministry of Transport to include the company in working groups discussing the introduction of car-sharing user verification through the Unified Biometric System and government information systems, and to clarify how the mechanism will operate. Delimobil CEO Vincenzo Trani outlined the request in a letter sent on June 8 to the heads of both ministries. The government plans to introduce the system as part of its road safety strategy to verify drivers’ identities and driving licence status.
