Transneft Appeals RUB 3.4bn Dispute With Rosneft

Transneft and its subsidiaries have appealed to the Supreme Court against rulings overturning a RUB 3.37 billion damages award against Rosneft and Samaraneftegaz over losses allegedly caused by the delivery of oil containing excessive levels of organochlorine compounds into the pipeline system in 2021. The Moscow Arbitration Court initially upheld the claim on October 13, 2025, but the decision was later reversed by appellate and cassation courts.
