Cantel Medical's GAAP net income for 6 months of fiscal year 2021 was $36.532 million, up 10 times from $3.504 million in the prior year. Revenues increased 8.3% to $591.067 million from $545.744 million a year earlier.

STERIS is buying Cantel Medical for $3.6 billion. Cantel shareholders will receive $16.93 per share and 0.33787 shares of STERIS stock, which equates to about $84.66 per share. The transaction is scheduled to close by June 30, 2021.

Cantel Medical's GAAP net profit for the 3 months of fiscal 2021 was $24.464 million, up 4.2 times from $5.767 million in the previous year. Revenue increased by 15.5% to $297.029 million against $257.246 million a year earlier.
