Amphenol has completed its acquisition of test systems and industrial position sensors supplier MTS Systems for $1.7 billion, or $58.5 per share.

MTS Systems loss under GAAP for fiscal year 2020 was $272.051 million, against a profit of $43.067 million in the previous year. Revenues fell 7.2% to $828.586 million from $892.518 million a year earlier.

Amphenol buys MTS Systems for $1.7 billion or $58.50 per share. The closing of the transaction is expected in mid-2021, subject to shareholder approval of MTS Systems and regulatory approvals.
