A consortium of investment firms including Elliott Investment Management, Patient Square Capital and Veritas Capital is buying Syneos Health for $7.1 billion, or $43 per share. Closing of deal is scheduled for second half of 2023.

Syneos Health's GAAP net income for 3 months of 2022 was $46.176 million, up 19.2% from $38.724 million in the previous year. Revenues increased 10.5% to $1.336 billion from $1.209 billion a year earlier.

Syneos Health's GAAP net income for 2021 was $234.831 million, up 21.8% from $192.787 million in the previous year. Revenue increased 18% to $5.213 billion from $4.416 billion a year earlier.

Syneos Health's GAAP net income for 9M 2021 was $158.872 million, up 57.5% from $100.901 million in the previous year. Revenue increased by 17.2% to $3.84 billion from $3.276 billion a year earlier.
