Alrosa is studying scenarios for further production cuts of 2.6 million carats in 2021-2022 as the economic situation deteriorates due to coronavirus infection. In 2019, amid the crisis in the industry, the company lowered its production forecast for 2020 from approximately 38 million carats to 34.2 million carats.
