Sony and Microsoft have joined forces to create intelligent camera solutions for enterprise customers. The partnership will result in the integration of Microsoft Azure AI capabilities into a Sony IMX500 smart sensor that extracts useful information from images on smart cameras and other devices. Sony will also create an IoT and Cognitive Services Azure based smart camera management application that complements the IMX500 sensor and extends the range and capabilities of video analytics for corporate clients.
