Lufthansa's majority shareholder Heinz Hermann Thiele, who owns more than 15% of the company, has criticized the €9 billion bailout, according to which the German government will receive 20% in Lufthansa and two seats on the supervisory board. He refused to say whether he would vote against the deal at the Lufthansa Extraordinary General Meeting on June 25, at which shareholders would be asked to approve the agreement.
