Alrosa will withdraw from the Timir iron ore project in Yakutia, where the company owns 49%, jointly with Evraz. It is already looking for a strategic investor for its stake, but it is too early to talk about any parameters of the future deal or possible buyers. Under the terms of the shareholder agreement, the company will be able to leave GMK Timir only in 2023.
