Lukoil started exploratory drilling on new structures of the Caspian Sea shelf. We are talking about drilling an exploratory well at the Shirovo-Rakushechnaya prospect structure. The company has also started studying a new area in the south of the water area within the East-Sulak berm - the Khazri and Titon structures, where the second well is being drilled. The main objective is to study oil and gas bearing capacity and identify gas and oil deposits.
