Congo has offered Lukoil several new projects in hydrocarbon exploration and production, gas chemicals and fertilizer production. Company has taken time to study these proposals and plans to respond to them in the near future.

Lukoil's Nizhny Novgorod refinery has put its main primary oil refining unit AVT-6 back into operation after a drone attack, sources told Reuters. Refinery's press service recommended to get comments on the matter from Lukoil's head office in Moscow, specifying that it did not have such information.

Lukoil Oil Company has completed compressor repairs and launched a catalytic cracking unit at the Nizhny Novgorod Refinery, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said at SPIEF. Unit operation was temporarily halted in January. According to Rostekhnadzor, the reason for the unit's decommissioning was a faulty compressor part.

Lukoil's RAS net profit for 3 months of 2024 amounted to ₽89.89 billion, down 13.8% from ₽104.29 billion in the previous year. Revenue increased 45.9% to ₽664.83 billion against ₽455.83 billion a year earlier.
