The Rostelecom operator launched a pilot project to implement a Unified Biometric System for the non-contact aisle of employees in the government building in Moscow City, equipping the EBS with eight turnstiles at the entrance. In the future, biometric identification will be used to enter restricted areas and the Tower of Ministries. In order to enter the building by biometrics, employees of the ministries must submit biometric samples in advance in one of the 13.5 thousand branches of 236 banks.
