Operator Rostelecom closed a deal on acquisition of a data processing center in Medvedkovo with 4,000 racks from developer Rental PRO. Operation will start in the near future. Cost of the deal is not disclosed by the company. Analysts estimate the data center at ₽19 billion.

Rostelecom's IFRS net profit for 6 months of 2024 amounted to ₽26.08 billion, down 3% from ₽26.89 billion in the previous year. Revenue increased 8.8% to ₽353.06 billion compared to ₽324.54 billion a year earlier.
