The management of the Talnakh Enrichment Plant owned by MMC Norilsk Nickel was dismissed as a result of an internal investigation of the recycling water discharge incident on 28 June 2020. The Company has also developed and started implementing a set of measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. The discharge of recycled water cannot cause significant harm to the environment, but NorNickel considers such actions by its operating personnel unacceptable.
