MMC Norilsk Nickel has launched a modernized workshop in Monchegorsk for the production of metallic cobalt with a capacity of 3,000 tons per year. This is the only company in Russia that produces electrolytic cobalt of the highest grades. Company's investments in the project amounted to 5.3 billion rubles.

MMC Norilsk Nickel is exploring the possibility of participating in metallurgy projects in Saudi Arabia. There are four clusters in the country where industrial production is offered. They provide for a preferential tax regime and infrastructure, and the investor can only build the plant itself.

MMC Norilsk Nickel's RAS net profit for 9 months of 2025 amounted to ₽22.5 billion, which is 40.5% lower than ₽37.8 billion in the previous year. Revenue increased by 2.4% to ₽659.8 billion against ₽644.4 billion a year earlier.
