Rosneft has discovered a new field on the border of the Krasnoyarsk region and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District with recoverable reserves of over 20 million tonnes of oil and about 1 billion cubic meters of gas. The new field was discovered as part of a comprehensive exploration program aimed at increasing the resource base of the East Oil project. At this stage, the resource base of the project is about 5 billion tons of light low-sulfur oil.
