Rosneft and India's Reliance have struck the largest ever India-Russia oil supply deal, sources told Reuters. Russian company will supply nearly 500,000 barrels of oil per day for 10 years. That's about 0.5% of the world's oil supply, and the deal is worth about $13 billion a year at today's prices.

Oil company Rosneft has planned the first stage of commissioning of the Vostok Oil project for 2026, said the head of the company Igor Sechin. Project envisages development of oil fields in Taimyr. Resource base amounts to 6.5 billion tons of premium low-sulfur oil.

Rosneft's hydrocarbon production for 9 months of 2024 amounted to 193.4 million tons of oil equivalent, including 138.3 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons. Rosneft's IFRS net profit for 9 months of 2024 amounted to ₽1.14 trillion, down 10.9% from ₽1.28 trillion in the previous year. Revenue rose 15.7% to ₽7.65 trillion against ₽6.61 trillion a year earlier.
