BP's strategy until 2030 envisages its transformation from a resource-centric company to a low-carbon solutions provider. BP will not conduct exploration in other countries and will increase its investment in low-carbon technologies by a factor of 10, to $5 billion a year, which will lead to a reduction in oil and gas production and associated emissions by about 40% compared to 2019. The company will also seek to pay a quarterly dividend of 5.25 cents per share and direct at least 60% of its free cash to the buyback.
