Operating results

Barrick Gold produced 2.399 million ounces of gold in 6 months of 2020, 12% less than in 6 months. Gold sales decreased by 11% to 2.444 mln ounces in 2019. Copper production grew by 16% to 235 mln pounds. Copper sales increased by 17% to 233 million pounds. The realised gold price was $1,657 thousand per ounce, up 26%, with copper sales at $2.53 per pound, 11% lower than the prior year.
