Financial results

MMC Norilsk Nickel's IFRS net profit for 6 months of 2020 amounted to ₽1.168 billion, a multiple decrease as compared to ₽196.19 billion in the previous year. Revenue increased by 12.4% to ₽461.963 billion as compared to ₽411.178 billion a year earlier. The main reason for the decrease in profits was the environmental reserve in the amount of ₽149.248 billion formed to pay a penalty for a fuel spill at CHPP-3 in Norilsk at ₽147.78 billion.
