Moderna has entered into an agreement with the U.S. government to supply 100 million doses of mRNA-1273 vaccine against COVID-19. The deal will total $1.525 billion, including provision of funds to finance production and incentive payments to the company for on-time delivery. The government will also be able to purchase up to 400 million additional doses of vaccine.
