Operational results

In 6 months of 2020, Mechel Company increased its coal production by 45% year-on-year to 8 857 thousand tons. Iron production grew by 3% to 1,783 thousand tons. Steel production decreased by 3% and amounted to 1 803 thousand tons against 1 861 thousand tons a year earlier. Long products and flat products sales increased by 3% and 2% YoY to 1,295 thousand tonnes and 233 thousand tonnes respectively. Supplies of Chrome Metallurgical Plant's rails increased 2.4 times to 215 thousand tonnes, while sales of shapes increased by 1% to 143 thousand tonnes.
