The number of individuals who have brokerage accounts at the Moscow Exchange reached 6.2 million people. Of these, more than 0.5 million people opened brokerage accounts in August, which was the highest monthly figure in history. Deals at the Exchange last month were made by more than 950 thousand individuals, which is almost 3 times higher than the average value for 6 months of this year. The share of private investors in share trading was 46%.
