Gazprom is in talks with private Turkish companies, including Gama, AKSA, Demiroren and Kalyon, to extend or renegotiate contracts for the supply of 8 billion cubic meters of gas per year in connection with the expiration of the current agreements at the end of this year. The Turkish companies are not interested in signing long-term contracts, where the gas purchase price would be tied to the oil market conditions, and seek to conclude more flexible contracts in terms of timing and prices.
