EQT Corporation has signed an agreement to acquire all upstream and midstream assets of Alta Resources Development for $2.925 billion. Of this $1 billion will be paid in cash and the remaining $1.925 billion in new EQT common shares of approximately 105 million. The transaction is scheduled to close in Q3 2021.
